The Carbonic deck has been masterfully designed and crafted to give riders the most capable and flexible deck configurations on the market today.
The organic design of this deck gives the rider an amazing level of comfort, and excellent control from the ability to lock your feet into the molded carbon toe, and heel pockets. The gentle concave keeps you feeling connected without creating foot fatigue.
This deck features a Carbon Twill weave chosen for it's high tensile strength for longitudinal direction loads.
The outside dimensions are 43"x11" with the enclosure measuring 27.5"x9"
The generous interior space gives builders the flexibility to create a battery pack that suits any needs. SKP produces two packs specifically for this deck. Our 14s5p, and 18s4p PCB packs make excellent options to power your next build. We include a 3M backed silicone liner for the interior of the deck to protect your battery and wiring from making contact with carbon.
The angle on the nose rises by 10 degrees, and the tail rises by 5 degrees, wich gives the deck a low slung center of gravity and excellent turning radius when combines with a wide range of trucks.
The underside of the deck has molded wiring channels in both the front and rear for top mounted power and charge port wiring, and nose mounted telemetry like the Megan.
The deck comes with two plug inserts to manage and secure motor wiring, plus all the other cables that you may have entering the under side of the enclosure.
We molded in threaded inserts everywhere! The deck, port hole covers, and heat sink are all secured with machine screws to the threaded inserts molded into the deck. there is no there is no drilling or additional hardware required to install your esc into the deck.
The Carbonic can be ordered with our purpose built heat sink for mounting 2 SKP solos escs. It can also be ordered with a generic heat sink that will fit a wide variety of common escs found on the esk8 market today.
You can also add top side anti-sink plates that house a charge port and power button on the tail and a matching plate for the nose in either black anodized or sliver(Raw) to complete look of a beautifully finished board.
